Can I do PRANAYAM during menses.

Yes, you can do certain pranayamas during menses but NOT all of them. You can do Bhastrika, anulom vilom Bhramri, ujjayee and udgeet but don't do Kapal Bhati Agni saar and Bahaya pranayam. The reason for not doing these pranayams during menses is that at this time the flow is going downwords and all these 3 pranayamas push things upwords mostly so it is going against the body's natural rythem. But other pranayamas listed 1st can be done easily.
