Hi, I have two questions. I'd be very happy if you can answer them! 1. Which one of your DVD's on Pranayama is the best for general health and includes the seven main Pranayams? 2. ...

I keep reading that during summer months you should balance Kapal Bhati with sheetali or even don't do Kapal Bhati at all. The latter doesn't seem very practical given the importance of Kapal Bhati. What do you advise? Please, let me know. Thank you! John
Let me answer your 2nd question 1st. Kapalbhati when done correctly- medium speed - medium force for less than 30 minutes, it doesn't need to be done in conjunction with sheetali, it theoratically sounds good that if you are doing kapal bhati ( which can increase heat if done faster and with great force) you will need to balance it with a pranayam like sheetli to cool you down, but the techniques we are teaching do not do that. In summer time if you are live in a very hot place and also have PITTA constitution and if you feel the heat after doing kapal bhati you can do sheetli, but if you don't have time you could do kapal-bhati at an even slower pace and force. YOU are the BEST judge of your body and please listen to your body and see if you need to adjust your practices. What we suggest is starting with .. Bhastrika then Kapal bhati followed with Anulom vilom- which it self can balance your energy and calm as well as cool you down. 2) About the DVD's.. These are ALL live seminars which cover almost ALL the pranayama's very nicely. Shortest DVD ( less than 1 hr) is " Practice with us" with not much talk but an instructional DVD for Daily practice. Healing power of pranayam is explains very well and Power of Prana- also have more stretches and regular practitioners sharing their success stories which are inspiring. Keep smiling and keep breathing- consciously
